The other night my wife asked me what I would like for my birthday?Thinking no way in heck she would let me get it I replied with a Ruger precision in 308.I have a 4 day weekend off work.This morning she got me up and told me we had some errands to run.We headed to town and she took me to the gun store!!!10 days and I get to bring it home.

Now to figure out which scope and mounts I'm gonna run.

Nice.... seems the RPR is the gift loved ones give.. A guy I shoot with, his wife to be bought him a 6.5 and 308 as his wedding gift!

Thanks guys,she gave me a green light on a optic. Ive been scouting the web trying to get a idea of what i need without going overboard.I'm new to this long range stuff.I run 3x9 nikon prostaffs on my .270 and both 22's.However i know those cheaper scopes will not complement or do this baby justice.Ill take any input on the subject anyone is willing to offer.
