Everybody makes scope bases for the Mark V so decide if you want a one piece base or a two piece base first.
The two piece base leaves more room for loading which might be a plus on a 460 if your planning on a hunt in Africa.
If your just shooting it locally and are not concerned about a charging Rhino or Cape Buffalo Nightforce Warner EGW and a host of others make one piece picatinny rails for the 460.
On the two piece side Leupold Talley and a host of others all make quality setups. If your worried about scope slippage because of the size of that cartridge you can always add a third ring on a one piece base.Last edited by LynnJr; 05-08-2017, 8:42 AM.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.

Good advice from Lynn. I much prefer the looks of two pieces but don't use them anymore. A one piece gives you much more latitude to position the scope where you want it.Last edited by Horrendo Revolver; 05-08-2017, 2:33 PM.Comment
