Grayboe or B&C?

Right now I'm debating wether to get a Grayboe or a B&C.

Leaning toward the Grayboe because you can drop in a DBM into it. But will the aluminum bedding block offer easier bedding of the action? I think the Grayboe comes with pillars installed already so bedding would be pretty easy?

You will end up with a better bedding setup with standard pillars and a proper epoxy bedding job compared to a full aluminum bed.

Grayboe. I saw another smiths comment about them saying even though they don't have a aluminum block, whatever they use is harder than wood pecker lips. You can also add a McMillan spacer system to them to adjust LOP, and the butt stock is solid so adding a milled out cheek riser system is very easy.

I own a B&C too. If it wasn't given to me I would have gotten a Grayboe.

Stocks

I am confused Randall, are you saying the B&C is better than the Greyboe or get a stock with no pillars installed and add your own? Thanks hogbody74

Grayboe is a better quality stock, but like most smith's, I prefer to install the pillars myself.
