The front site hoods slide on and off... Check for a groove front to back on the front site,,, maybe order one from numrich .. I shoot factory Rem 165gr corelokts in 30-06 and they work very well hunting deer or bear ... Your rifle may or may not like them ,, but their a good place to start.... Cheers..
