I need help.

So, my son's CZ SP01 came in, I bought it for him for his college graduation. I went with him to do his DROS and pay it off and I saw a Taylor 1873 rifle across from me. I already have a Henry H006M but seeing the Taylor stirred some emotions deep inside me. So tell me why I shouldn't buy one. I love my Henry but there is just something about the 1873 that just brings out the Jimmy Stewart/John Wayne in me.

So I come here for help. I know I have a firearm buying problem. This rifle isn't cheap, it is over $1,200. I just have this desire to own it. So, if anyone can tell me why I shouldn't buy it I will listen. I may not act, but I will listen.

I had never heard of Taylor until reading your post, but I have a Winchester 1873 (Miroku). The Taylor's look like nice rifles. Get it, you won't regret it.

I have a somewhat similar impulse buying problem...with reloading supplies. A bolt .223 probably isn't going to do well against a horde of zombies but I now have plenty of Z-Max bullets to send their way

I like lever rifles with a side loading gate more than I do the Henry style front tube loading.

I'd sell the Henry and get the 1873 in 38/357 or 45LC.
