Accuracy International used to make a 223 magazine, but it appears they may have discontinued it.

I don't know if the bottom metals from pacific tool will work or not. if someone has tried them with the magpul 700 hunter stock hopefully they will chime in.

I think you can still use the Magpul magwell but use a 223 mag.

I have my R700 223 in a magpul stock and magpul bottom metal using the MDT 223 mag. due to weather I haven't actually fired it, but it will lock in place and feed rounds.

couldn't find any actual AICS 223 mags

The MDT .223 mag is GTG, that is what I use in my Magpul stocked Remington 700 SPS in 300 BLK.

Accurate mag has them. they are steel with a plastic insert. They work really good. The AI mags are polymer. Mine split the first time I used them.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

those be Accurate mags, not actual AICS (as in manufacture by AI) mags. that's what I meant. not to be confused with AICS compatible, which is what accurate-mags are.
