Ive tried looking online i cant find anything (i am ignorant of bolt action rifles ) anyway its an 8mm bolt my uncle in nevada found he says it has a fabrique nationale and has a mexican flag stamp? I attatched the pics he sent anyone know what it is?

My guess would be a Mexican Mauser that has been sporterized to an extent. -
Agreed. It looks to be a sporterized Mexican military Mauser. I wasn't aware of the Mexican military issuing Mausers chambered in 8x57, so it's possible that it was rebarreled to 8mm. That last comment is only conjecture though, as I am not an expert of Mexican Mausers, so someone with more knowledge may shoot down my rebarrel theory.Comment

"Mauser" covers all kinds of Models, "Mexican Mauser" does too. There are Large, and Small rings, and several manufactures. By the cocking piece, that one "appears to be" a Model 1936. Parts for Mex Mausers are hard to find as the actions were unique in dimensions.
You say single shot? Is the magazine blocked so the follower won't depress?
