Remington 700 Compatibility Questions

I have an older model Remington 700 ADL and would like to change the factory stock on it. It has in internal magazine with no floorplate and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I can use the Magpul Stock with their floorplate adapter to accept a magazine?

Make sure its a long action and not Magnum or Short action

It's a 300Win Mag which that should cover at least if I understand the specs correctly.

I htink you have to get the "Magnum" magwell? Or maybe the LA magwell will just accept Magnum mags?

There is no difference in the actual 700 receivers between ADL/BDL/SPS models of a given action length.
All models use the same receiver.
The ADL uses that little tapped hole in front of the trigger to hold the front trigger guard screw.
The BDL and SPS models have fixed magazine floorplates combined with their triggerguard so they use the two action screws and do not use the little screw in front of the trigger.
The magpul stocks will use the two action screws just like a BDL or SPS and should fit your rifle.

I did exactly what you are asking about with an ADL model in 308 and added Magpuls magazine system. Works perfectly and I highly recommend the upgrade!
