Need help on a Thompson Cenerfire

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some information.
I'm trying to sell a Thompson Centerfire Enforcer that belonged to a relative who has passed away. Its a single fire, break barrel pistol, but my relative decided to put a long .223 caliber barrel on the thing as well as a collapsible stock. Now from what gun laws I know, this thing seems to fall directly into the gray area between rifle and pistol... I'm not really sure what to do and which way to go to make it sellable and compliant with CA Laws....

Can someone shed some light on the subject??

I attached a picture for reference.

Just remove the stupid stock and toss it then get an OEM stock for it, they are very plentiful.

I am not in PA so with out knowing all CA laws , I won't touch on a few points however ...... could you gun broker the barrel by itself .......and the stock by itself and then sell the receiver off????

You sure that the Enforcer is not an Encore? Just wondering?
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

First, that is a Thompson Center Contender.
I don't know if there is a VARIANT called the enforcer, but that is a small frame Contender, not a large frame Encore.
You will get more money selling it in pieces (sepatate the barrel, frame and stock/grip than you will selling it complete as pictured.
There is a single-shot exemption for pistols in CA, but it would need to come into CA configured as a pistol if you wanted to sell it here.

I would be interested in the frame and wood forend if you sell it.
