It just looks glossy and new, maybe a few intentional scuff marks will dull the sharp lines, but otherwise it's fine and will look better with rough use?

Keep the paint job the same except for darkening the brown.

Just use a brush to apply darker brown paint over the light brown paint.

Can you do this?

This is why I use Photoshop first to see if I like the look I'm going for. Next time you want to change the camo, send me a photo of the camo you want to use and a photo of the rifle and I'll Photoshop it for you.
