    AR15barrels

As I sit here, dry firing my shiny new PTG blueprinted stainless R700 action, sitting in its XLR Element chassis and wondering two things
    A) when will funds be available for my next step?
    B) do I want to do a Remage or a traditional setup?

I have to give a huge thank you to AR15barrels/Randall for all of the advice and suggestions he's given me. I'm not sure he wants any more business than he already has, and maybe scheduling my own next steps with him will be hampered by doing so, but I can't thank him enough for the help he has offered me thus far. I should mention that all of his advice has been without any kind of recompense as I have not actually used his services and have paid the man not a dime, yet, day after day he's here and in private emails helping our community.

So, Randall thank you. I am completely tickled with what I've acquired thus far and greatly look forward to when I can bring you a bucket of parts to turn into my new baby. And then, hopefully get in on your CAPRC classes.

It's nice to have people with experience around give you good advice.
On some of the other forums here they don't appreciate honesty as much as popularity.

I just had Randall finished a complete 700 rebuild last Friday
He is truly a master when it comes to this!

                  Thanks Euphoria!
I still need to find the time to give her a break in!

                  Specs are as followed
Bartlein 308 5R SS cut to 24" threaded and a APA little bastard brake
PTG oversized bolt with the action trued
                  Sitting on an AICS 2.0

I cannot wait to shoot it
Randall showed me run out and this entire build has 0.001" of runout max

I bet that action is smooth and can only get better. Wish I had the $ to get a custom bolt action. Got bit by the ar bug while ago and haven't looked back Lol

                        The bolt is really smooth
Randall did a phenomenal job with tuning out the cocking piece

I use to have the AR bug, but something about long range bolt guns appeals to me more

I second this. He practically held my hand since I'm so new to bolt guns in helping me along with all the nitty gritty on my "budget 700 build"... I wanted to somehow pay him back, offering to go to his shop and have him assemble it. Part of me didn't want to botch the build with negligence, most of me just wants to repay him for freely just reaching out and helping. His reasonse? "If you got a flat, would you change it or call aaa?" Its folks like him that keep me here on calguns. Way to be, Randall. Seems you've shined a light on a lot of folks here. This should be a dedicated sticky Randall appreciation thread!
