    Lever guns in 357/38 ?

Any suggestions for a lever gun in 357/38? I have been thinking about one for a very long time, really like a retro cowboy look as well.

I have the Rossi 92 large loop carbine, I like it. They seem to be popular. Looks like they are out of stock right now at the big online sellers though. They have other barrel lengths with a standard lever too...

I also have a Henry 22 and would not hesitate to get one in 357. I just like the look of the Rossi a little more. And I'd love to have a new production Win 73.

I recently picked up a 2016 Winchester 1873 Trapper in 357/38. Their availability is spotty but they do show up from time to time. Expect to pay about $1100 but they are well worth it. Best place to find them is Gun Broker.

^^^ What he said. I have an 1892 Carbine in .357; they are all made by Miroku in Japan, and fit/finish is outstanding. Action was tight as a drum when I bought mine. They aren't super accurate beyond 150 yards or so but they are fun as hell to shoot at 100 yards.

I have the Rossi stainless in .357. I think they are a great affordable choice.
I did have the magazine tube slip forward due to recoil but the fix was easy enough.

I agree, have the same gun. It's been very reliable and fun, I shoot both my reload 38 and .357 out of it. Very nice for the price.

Also agree with a Henry in 38/357, I also have the H-22. Henry's are fine guns and provide many options.

My only other lever rifle is a 1994 Winchester 30/30, again works great no problems in over 20 years of ownership. Would not mind having one in 38/357 too.
