Is anyone on here shooting the match? I'm looking for some information and guidance. I want to shoot the match but need to be sure. Any information from previous years would be appreciated.

No point repeating what has already been said...

Some added stuff...

* Buy a wagon or cart of some sort. it will be your best friend when changing from firing point to firing point, or when storing your gear while you go to the pits.

* Bring a large rope for the pits. The cantilever frames are sharp and a rope wrapped around the base to pull targets is the way to go.

* Plan for days from 0630-0700 to 1400-1500. Some days, you will be done by 1200-1300. There is water on the line and lunch served behind the 1K line.

* You will be shooting as if you are two the mound at times, so be prepared to share a firing point and minimize your ground footprint, unless you like setting up and breaking down your gear. Depending on your relay, you could be shooting close to back-to-back with only about a 25-35 minute break between strings.

* Chamber flag in at all times until your gun is pointed down range and are in 3 minute prep or shooting. Listen to the ROs.
