TIKKA M65 OWNERS EXPERTISE / INFORMATION NEEDED PLEASE

I just acquired a left hand bolt Tikka M65 in 338 Win Mag - marked Tikka M65 and 338 Win Mag on gun - but Tikka model chart for M55 / M65 / M595 / M695 has no reference to any model in 338 Win Mag.

I have seen a few posts on the net that confirm there were M65 and M695 in 338 win mag - but I cannot find any product information anywhere.
Were they special order or ?

Also, Manufacturing dates are not available - tried the Beretta manufacturing date site - my serial number 650-935xx is not recognized.

Does anyone know if there is interchangeability in magazines for the 338 win mag M65 as I would like to try and get another (as scarce as they are)

I love the rifle - smooth action, great trigger, deep bluing, bright sharp bore rifling - I just would like to fnd more information.

And finding an M65 manual would be nice too....

Any knowledge from M65 owners will be greatly appreciated - Thanks.

I have a couple of 595's. Tikka blocked the long action and magazines for short action calibers. I'll look tonight when I get home for a manual. Tikka was owned by Sako before Beretta. The old manual was horrible as it was a translation. Great rifles though.

Response from Beretta to my email

I sent an email asking Beretta - any manufacturing date info, which magazines if any are interchangeable, manual, 338 magnum information etc.

This is what I got back.....

Thank you for contacting Beretta Customer Support.

Sir, we only support the rifles we imported ourselves, we have no parts, specs, or other information on older models. We have no idea if any other magazines might fit that model, and we have nothing ourselves to fit it.

This site says they have M65 mags. Site says they ship internationally.

I also remember somewhere someone working on getting AICS mags to work.
