Best carry case for Ruger Precision rifle?

Anyone have an informed opinion about a good soft case for a Ruger Precision rifle? It's got a 24" barrel (6.5 creedmoor) but also a folding stock.

I'm willing to spend a reasonable amount for a quality CSS that does the job and then some.

    Thanks for any good thoughts.

Go with a TacOps drag bag. They are expensive, but they are definitely the best.

If you are ok with a hard case, the Plano all weather 42" is hard to beat.

I purchased one of these as well. Works great folded. I cut in the hard foam from the original RPR box.
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

Lol. Nice! I used the pluck foam but after I was done plucking it I sprayed it with plastidip spray to firm it up and lock together the plucmable pieces of foam. It is much better now.

Keep in mind this puppy is heavy all by itself with glass. A hard case like Pelican 1750 will add weight to it.

Very true. But the protection you get from a hard case and a accidental spill is impossible with a soft case. Just today at Angeles some hack pushed a guys file off the back bench by accident while he was sliding his case onto the table. I cringed and walked away. I'll deal with the weight to protect my investment.

For the price the midways, when on sale, are tough to beat.

Thats what I use, and yes I can put two rifles in there. But I can haul my rifle and all my gear in that case, which is super nice.

I also will jump on the Plano wagon owning three of them (2 rifle 1 pistol)

Yeah I'm attracted to Pelican but I'll spend the diff on ammo...
And after a couple years of ownership and buying new non pluck
foam at Dom's in Livermore...I'm a happy camper
