Rifle cannot be less than 30-inches???

I cannot find ANY California law stipulating that bolt-action rifles with an adjustable (or folding stock) and a folded length of less than 30-inches is illegal. Is it true? I thought only the 16" barrel + 26" OAL requirement to not be regarded as a Short Barreled Rifle applies!

Is it something new for 2016? I can't find the legislation to this regard though.

Semi auto non AW must be 30". Bolt actions can be 26" but all guns must have a 16" barrel.

... because PC says if that semiauto centerfire rifle is LT 30, it becomes an 'assault weapon'.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
