    Why?

    Who made it?

    What is it about?

    How long is it?

That is, explain why someone should use up some of their life watching it.

You posted; you thought it was 'cool'; you know the answers to the questions.

    A 'bare link' is unhelpful.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Maybe I'm not getting it, but it's a new bolt for a bolt-action where, instead of a firing pin, it has a laser. And instead of normal primers in your ammo, you have some type of special primer that goes off when struck by the laser beam. So you eliminate any vibrations from your firing pin and spring moving. And you reduce lock time by a bit.

I mean, sure... on paper it makes sense. My questions would be: Are people going to 1) buy special primers that probably come at a premium and their own limitations and 2) buy special bolts that probably don't fit many guns and 3) must run off a battery? Also, it uses your current trigger, which is mechanical. So at some point, there needs to be a cocking piece that actually cocks and falls when you pull the trigger. So there is still some sort of moveable mechanism in the new bolt that triggers the laser just like a firing pin. So...

It's cool to see new ideas and innovations, though.

His point was... you created a thread with nothing but a link. You need to provide a description and some context if you want people to actually check it out and not think this is spam.

Heck it interested me and I don't hunt targets... And maybe I should have mentioned electronic trigger in the title of the thread, but I didn't, and if it bothers anyone don't follow the link....
