What will a Rossi Circuit Judge rifle be considered (AW?) in 2017 for CA?

The .45/.410 Rossi Circuit Judges that were sold in California had rifled barrels so they do not meet the CA definition of a "shotgun" (not smooth bore) and as a rifle it cannot be an evil "shotgun with a revolving cylinder".
I suppose someone who purchased the smooth bore version out of state and then moved to CA would have an Assault Weapon, also the 28 gauge version (if it was ever made?).Comment
