My boyds stocked savage 11

Sorry terrible picture, but it seems to be a good stock. Maybe little more " floating" in the tang area.

Was not a "drop in" had to remove quite a bit from the forearm. My savage 11 is a heavy barreled rifle. It is a $200 stock and I wasn't expecting the world.

Very nice. Take it to a smith for a good bed job. That will improve it even more.

My bottom "metal" fit really well. Just opened up the barrel a bit and

Forgot I posted that thread earlier this year. I had to open it up quite a bit as well since I have a bull barrel -



I still need to bed the stock, otherwise it's been fun shooting the rifle every time I take it out. No recoil felt!

If anyone is interested I "opened up"/ widened the fore grip with a 7/8 dowel about 4' long and 60 grit sand paper. Double wrapped the paper for the last widening. Brownells was out of stock with their tool for the widening.
