Octagonal barrels

Are there any lever action rifles that have 16 inch octagonal barrels? The only 16 inch barrels I've seen are round barrels.

I'm not too fond of the way the magazine is loaded on the Henry .22s. Do the Big Boys load the same way?

I prefer the side loading like on the Winchester 94s.

I have the Chiappa Alaskan .38/.357 16" takedown w/octagonal barrel.

I have a scout style scope attached and is my favorite lever action and looks very similar to the 'Wild West Copilot'.

I have a scout style scope attached and is my favorite lever action and looks very similar to the 'Wild West Copilot'.

Now that's a real awesome looking rifle. It looks like the barrel is ported. Do you think that makes a noticeable difference in recoil?

Can't speak for the Wild West rifle but it shoots 45-70 which is a stout round!

The Chiappa is a fairly soft shooter in .357...here it is without my color matched scope -

I have 2x Rossi 92 357's, one Rossi 92 44 mag and a Winchester 94AE.
Of the 4 only one of them is easy load using the loading gate, the 44. The rest are a pain in my fingers.
Rossi had both options on the 454 casull but they discontinued that one.

You could have any lever gun rebarreled with an octagonal barrel.
