Hello. I am going to be taking my 26" varmint barrel either down for 24" and recrown, or 22" and thread for a brake. Can anybody recommend a good muzzle brake to me? I will be having my barrel cut and threaded and have the brake timed, so I would like it to follow the contour of the barrel and not look out of place.

Ross Schuler makes muzzle brakes tapered to your diameter spec and clearanced for your bullet diameter for around $45 in a day or two.

I thread barrels and time them up all the time.
Standard muzzle diameters for a Remington varmint barrels:
26" barrel is 0.820".
24" barrel is 0.833"
