Savage vs Savage question

If comparing the 16 Trophy Hunter XP and the 16 FCSS, are they both pretty much the same rifle with the only difference being the TH doesn't have the accustock but the FCSS does? Do they both use the same action and barrel?

From what I can tell by the info on the Savage site they are the same rifle accept the stock difference.

The difference what I see is plastic vs the metal magazines on the two and trigger guards.

Maybe go for the Weather Warrior since it is all metal instead of plastic

Buy the one that feels best to YOU. Then you will have a good rifle and it does not matter what others think since they are both good.
