Been looking at them for a while now, kind of debating with myself if I should pull the trigger on one. I have an axis chambered in .223 that I regularly take out to 3/400 yards and have had 0 problems with. Excellent guns for the price in my opinion. Through this experience, I've wanted to get another one, but step it up a bit. I think a good hard hitting bolt gun that can reach out and touch something is an absolute necessity for a home armory. Apparently these Trophy Hunter models feature their Accutrigger which I've heard tremendous things about. It also features a Nikon scope with a bdc reticle.. For 6-7 hundo out the door? The deal is screaming my name.
I was also looking at the Savage 10 fcp sr (sp?) model, and as it seems appealing, it's a little too tacticool for me.
I don't know much about bolt guns, other than I love shooting them. Anyone with the Trophy Hunter within their collection? Thoughts?
