The Savage rifles manufactured before they came out with the AccuTrigger. The rear of the receivers is flat on the older rifles, round on the new ones.

I mount scopes for a living. The Savage 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 110, 111, 112, 114, 116, Axis, Axis II, Edge, Stevens 200 and 2000, Remington 783 and Ruger American centerfire rifles all take the same two piece bases. This holds true for all Savage/Stevens rifles produced since the AccuTrigger came out, including rifles that don't have the AccuTrigger i.e. Axis, Edge and Stevens. The Axis takes a different one piece base than the Savage models that are numbered. The two digit Savage models above are short action and take the same one piece base, the three digit Savage models are long action and take the same base. This holds true no matter the brand of bases, at least the ones I've used and that covers most of them I believe.
