    Selling higher end precision rifles...

Where's a good place to sell them. I know they are more of a specialty thing and not everyone has $4,000 laying around to buy a rifle.

Besides here, what are some other sites to list on? I'd do gunbroker as a last resort but I hate their fees.

Snipers hide has a healthy market place.

I was able to sell my SSG3000 for $2k on Gunbroker while it literally sat here for weeks at $1500. I also bought a very nice AI rig for well under $3k here. Calguns is great for off-roster stuff and CA popular stuff (eg: SCARs, MCX's). Gunbroker will give you a far wider audience for your higher end rifle.

The fees on GB are very reasonable, especially considering the exposure you get: http://www.gunbroker.com/User/Fees.aspx

I accept USPS Money Orders, discrete PayPal, discreet Google Wallet, and discreet Venmo. Most choose to pay with a USPS MO.

            This. ^^^

It is the only place online where shooters are willing to spend thousands on a rifle on a regular basis.

I've probably sold 10s of thousands of dollars in high end scopes there... and purchased.

+1 for Snipers Hide, but I really do try to keep it on Calguns most of the time.

OP, are you done with your recent rifle purchase? Seems pretty short lived... if so, I'm interested in the AICS 2.0 stock only if it comes with the original tan skins... I could use another chassis.

+1 for Snipershide. Liked it A LOT more before the owner sold out to scout.com, only go there for the marketplace now.

AccurateShooter.com (formerly 6mmBR.com) has a vibrant marketplace where high end is commonplace.

It depends on the type of rifles you are talking about.
I wouldn't list high end Winchesters F-Class or Benchrest rifles on Snipers-Hide.
If your selling AR or tactical type rifles yes that is a good place.
Each type of shooting has its own website and that is your best bet.

The reason it's not selling is that it's not priced right.

That gun less the scope is worth about $2000.
It does not matter what the maker charges when you are selling.
It matters what the parts are worth.
Your half way worn out barrel and the muzzle brake on it is worth about $200 now.
Your action, trigger and scope base and all the small parts are about $1000
Your stock is worth $700 tops.

Thanks. I took into consideration your knowledge and priced accordingly to what I believe is a more fair number $3500 for everything.

This is spot on, Dave tooley listed a AI mk1 with a new bartlein barrel he just spun up for $2100 on the hide.
