Which would be best for 1000yard rifle? Is there that much difference in loss of velocity? I'm planning on putting a ross schuler 3 port brake also. Bartlein medium palma in 6.5 if that matters

Longer is always better plus you can have your gunsmith cut it off if you don't like it.Lynn Dragoman, Jr.

Longer is better and 30" would be ideal, maybe even 32", but that means you are getting into a dedicated, purpose built gun and not a gun that can be used in different applications.
If you plan on shooting F-Class, brakes are not allowed. Just remember that.
For a tactical gun in 6.5 creedmoor, go with 26" in med or heavy palma. I personally like heavy palma barrels. This should give you roughly 2800-2850 fps velocity with 140gr hybrids and with a 100 yard zero, will be about 8 mil of elevation to get to 1,000 yards.
Just remember, accuracy > speed.Comment

26 generates the velocity better. But, you've chosen a medium palma for a reason. It's in the middle of the range of thickness so you are being mindful of weight/size. The muzzle brake is going to add about an inch. In practice, 6.5CD isn't really a cartridge where you are likely to find yourself pushing for more speed. It's a relatively slow bullet, but very efficient. You may find the difference in end result to not be that significant. If you are having trouble deciding over these two inches, maybe you should just split the difference and do 25".Comment
