Ruger M77 trigger

I recently purchased a Ruger M77 MKII Ultralight and trigger just isn't there.
Has anyone on here done their own trigger job on a M77?

I'm not wanting a 4oz Benchrest weight trigger just wanting something better than OEM.

I found this spring that's $7 and might be just perfect.

Have you try looking in YouTube I seen one clip of a guy doing it. I have one but trigger seems fine, all stock no aftermarket parts. Have you try shooting it with out trying to Try fire it.

Yup, did my own trigger job on my Ruger Gunsite Scout, which is based on the 77 action.

I dropped in a Wolff reduced power sear spring, cost $3.50.

You can also stone the sear engagement surfaces to reduce creep.

My M77 came with a trigger pull above 8 Lbs. when I bought it. I had the trigger re-worked by my gunsmith when I had the pillars installed and the action bedded.
