You cannot hit what you cannot see. In fairness, I had the Schmidt for my Lapua. It got moved down after the new Hensoldts came out and I found them simply incomparable to anything else for ELR shooting.

I grew up equipment poor... When I was a very little kid we'd walk out the door and carry out 22s with crapy 4x duplex scopes thru the neighborhood up to the hills. We'd use the bare fire roads as the climbed away across a valley to see just how far we could hit things by tossing lots of rounds out and walking them in and got excited when we started hitting or even finding the tiny dust splashes.

A lot of people would choke if they knew what it takes to shoot well from Zero to ELR distances.. It just is not the same as some are currently doing at long range, they are doing much like I did as a kid; setting up via Kentucky Windage and calling it good once things ring.

Anyway, I appreciate your gear.. I was just having fun.

From what I have seen, you certainly are no longer equipment poor based on some of the photos I have seen. You even have a target cam that seems pretty nifty. You should get with LynnJr and make some YouTube videos. I know he was wanting to learn how to post videos since he sees all the kids do it.

We'll your still ahead of me.. Actually, we've made some significant improvements and can get the camera 30 -100m away (depending on the lens we use) from the target so I no longer needs a protective plate and even run cheap $14 slave monitors if other shooters want their own view.

I have offered to loan the camera to Oscar/LynnJr, but Shakely has one Lynn can use.
Image from cam about 40m from 2k target. BTW this day was so windy it blow off (ripped them off) my wind flags and even the RTAC light is blown to an angle. We didn't get much testing we had planned done, will try to finish at the end of of this week or beginning next.
