    Ruger PRS scope mount question

Just picked up my PRS today and discovered the Seekins scope rings mounted on my SWFA 5-20 HD scope are too low. Scope was previously on a Savage bolt gun, so no surprise.

Going to purchase an American Defense scope mount and was wondering what is the best height choice for the 50mm bell on the SWFA?

Any advice would be appreciated as I'd rather it not be too high.

    Gratzi!!!!

1.46 to 1.5 would be your best fit.

If you already have a set-up that is too low, I'm guessing you have the ability to measure and see how much taller they need to be.

When you have a forward rail, clearance is more of an issue. This is one reason I don't like the RPR as it seems to have quad rails like and AR-15. Unless you are using a night vision clip on, quad rails on a bolt gun do not make a lot of sense to me. Actually, an AR type mount may be your best bet for price and clearance.
