Got no clue what Savage means with blueprinted to be honest
As far as I know this is the first time they offer it on a rifle - but I might be wrong . . .
Now maybe it was possible in the past when you placed a custom order at Savage but never ever read anything about it

Then companies buy them and package up guns in them.
