Speed Loader for .357 Leverguns w/Loading Gate

    Looks interesting, will get one.
    Comes in some other calibers.

Does not look complicated except to get the correct tube diameter.
Do any CGers have their own homemade versions?

Sorry if dupe, could not quickly find it, probably embedded in a related levergun thread. (bad google-fu on my part)

    .
I can load 10 rounds through a Model 1892 (20" .44 mag) loading gate as quickly as he can load his plastic tube... *before* he even loads his rifle. So... before I would entertain using this otherwise nifty idea, I'd have to have 10 of these plastic tubes all loaded up and stashed for quick retrieval in a quiver of some sort, with a brass rod at the ready. Otherwise, I'll stick to feeding one at a time, but quickly (since one has to load the plastic tube, first, one at a time).

My Rossi is still a bit stiff so I will give it a try.
Other threads are saying it will loosen up in time.
If I get mine as good as yours, that would be great, but I am not there yet.
(Being a lefty slows me down a little also, have to practice more at the range!)

      I like gadgets like this.

I went to the range and it did not work at all with the flat-topped soft point bullets.
The leading edge of the flat top was hitting something. (follower? IDK)

Next time I took round nose 38s and truncated cone .357s.

It worked pretty well, but nowhere near as easily as the video.

It looks like you have to get the angle just right to push the bullets in and practice a bit more.

Might be my levergun is still a bit tight as well.

Guess I need to go to the range a few more times to see what happens!

That is not a real pictue.

A real lever action assault rifle has a bayonet lug.

The modern black sunglasses ruined his cowboy outfit.

How come all cowboy outfits have a badge? Was everybody a sheriff in the old west?

No, most clubs have a club badge and yours will usually have your member number and or name on it. Just a way to show where your home club is.

The last thing I am when I shoot any of my lever guns is in a hurry.

There's this variation too. I like that it's more one assembly instead of a two separate pieces.
Plus the little rubber bit so that the rounds don't fall out is a nice touch.
