    How Cool

Stopped in at my buddy's shop to squaer up on some of the deals we have been working on and saw this sitting on his rack.

Now how cool is that. A Marlin 1894 SS in 44 Magnum, Suppressed.

It is nice to have the option in free states.

    Thanks.

What's the description for something that's above very cool?

Because then you're getting close to how cool that is.

Chesty Puller would ask where is the bayonet lug.

Judging from comments I heard at the Big Reno Gun Show, a lot of people in Free-America are returning to the 44s & 38s & 22LR. And where legal...are sporting muzzle cans .

I'm not referring to those in California will extremely limited access to shooting areas.

Even if you're using lower power loads that don't break the sound barrier and make that crack sound you still get the wallop of the big .44 slugs hitting home.

            Nice

I thought it was funny when I first saw it.
My buddy said that it was pretty quite with 44 Spl. and that he had been firing it in the back of the shop.
He will put a Suppresser on just about anything. On his bench there was a North American Arms 22 revolver with a threaded adapter on the muzzle. When I asked about it he said that he was told that there was no way to put a suppresser on it so, he did it just to show that it could be done.

"Chuck Norris" cool. That, I believe, is the proper term.

Yes, I do think Mr. Norris would love some range time with that rifle. Doesn't he have a large enough plot of land to actually be able to plink in his backyard? Cans *are* legal in Texas.

I've fired .44 Special out of a similar rifle (16" bbl) w/ no can. It's remarkably quiet at the shooters' end. Still need earpro, but it's all relative. Suppressed .44 Special? There's your .300 AAC Blackout functionality right there. Nighty-night, Bambi and Piglet...you're what's for dinner!

We *really* need to get cans off the NFA list....

Just look up the original Maxim silencer applications and you'll see the same type of setup.
