    Slightly Off Topic...

Just want to give a shout out to all that are competing in this event at Fort Benning this weekend.
Especially Team 40. My eldest son representing the 75th Ranger Regiment. Go Rangers!

Join us at Fort Moore, GA for the US Army's Best Ranger Competition—an annual test of human endurance, challenging select Ranger-qualified 'buddy' teams over 60 intense hours. Open to the public – don't miss this thrilling display of human endurance and excellence!

      Well said, 'hoof.
Yes, good luck to your son, Kendawg!

I know what it's like to be a proud dad... hell, just casual shooting in the desert with my son is always a priceless opportunity for fun and camaraderie.

Pass on my respect to your son for his service and his results. Makes me wish I was 20 again so I could try this competition.

Thanks to all for the comments. John finished 20th out of 50 teams. Just finishing AT ALL is quite a task. The first 24 hours saw 25 teams cut from the competition. Looking over the faces of the teams left standing, my son is a youngster at 26. The average age seems to be late 20's/early 30's. He made it, he's tired, and he would do it again in a heartbeat.
Check out the live stream link in the original post. The speech by the General at the end of the awards ceremony is quite inspiring.
