    1st time Cerrosafe

Its not pretty... But I think it should work. I am getting measurements very close to those listed in the Lyman book. What do you think? It was a little hard to get out because I poured a little too much. I used a soda can cut in half, wrapped wire around to make handle, heated with torch... Doesn't take long at all.
I did this after recommendation in previous thread:http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1180529

You didn't put the patches close enough to the end of the chamber.
That long piece sticking out in front can be a bear when trying to remove it.

I'm trying again.. This time patch will be closer and I will not be pouring in so much. Will post new results.

So can I safely say this chamber is as marked, 7.62 NATO?

Yes but get a box of factory ammo and make sure it closes easily.
As long as the bore diameter is the same if the brass fits you will be good to go.
The guys having issues are putting 308 ammo into a 270 or something similar.
