    Crappy trigger?

    Folks,

The triggers on my new Ruger Hawkeye All Weather, and Remington 700 CDL were heavy. Broke crisply, but heavy. Did not want to spend a ton of money to lighten them up. The LC6 on the Ruger was 5.5lbs non-adjustable, the X-Mark Pro of Remington was 4.5 pounds.
I found a fella called erniethegunsmith.com, ordered two springs, installed, and they both break at 3.5lbs. Cleanly and crisp. The springs were $6.95 each!.

You have to be careful lightening the XMP trigger. 3lbs is about as light as it can safely go. So, if you are happy with the 3.5lbs, it is probably okay.
