    NorCal 2000+ Yard Match

    Shooters
We are hosting a 2054 yard match on March 13th.
If you have been there before just drive up the mountain. If you haven't I will meet you at the Upper Lake Chevron at 7:30 AM.
I drive a red GMC 4x4 covered in herculiner so it is impossible to miss me.
101 North to hwy 20 then drive to the roundabout at the hwy 29 intersection and you are there.
The only thing that will cancel the match is rain.

Oh man, that sounds awesome. I would love to just show up and watch you guys shoot, and maybe learn a thing or two by bringing my gun, but I am at a wedding that day. How often do you guys get out and do this?

That sounds great! Too bad my equipment is not set up for that distance otherwise I'd join you. You guys have fun and it would be great to see some pictures of your event.

What is the spot you guys shoot at? Public land or a private/club range? I would love to be able to start to stretch my legs a little like that.

I have to work a morning shift at my local range on the 13th. :-( You all have fun out there.

We shoot about 3 miles west of the HighGlade lookout on deer valley road.
I will post later in the week if the match gets cancelled officially but right now it is pouring outside.

Lynn, I was planning on being in the San Luis Obispo area on the 12th and was thinking of coming up. But, I looked at the map, and WOW. It seems like it is a very long drive AFTER you have passed the bay area.

Just a bump to remind anyone who missed it. I talked with Bruce a day ago and he hadn't heard.

Yes please let other shooters know it is raining cats and dogs up here right now.
The Russian River is flooding at 32 feet and will crest at 34 feet with school closures.
We will try again Easter Sunday but if it's raining we will wait until April.

Is this being rescheduled to April?
