Needs a longer mag tube. 30 capacity.
If it had a regular black plastic stock and a forearm with no rail section near the receiver. I would consider getting one. Oh and a scout scope mount on the barrel would also sell me on it. R U listening Mossberg?

It is hideous, although I think it has merit as a beater/truck gun. The adjustable stock is a plus, as obviously not everyone has the same length arms, and having provision to attach say, a flashlight on it, is useful if that's what you want on it.

However, the fact that it has rails everywhere EXCEPT on the top, where a scope or RDS could be mounted is a minus.

I've said for a while that if Moss berg started making these in pistol calibers like 357 and 44, they'd sell like hotcakes. One like this in .357, with an adjustable stock and a 10+1 capacity would be a potent house gun.

How cool! I know the fore ends on lever actions are really heavy so that bi-pod is a nice feature.

If my buddy hopped into the truck to go deer hunting with that thing I would drop him off at the next stop sign and never go back.

It says: I need to operate, but I only have a horse.

Personally "Tactical Lever action" is the selling point, it goes well with my tactical saddle.

It's kinda steam punk looking and while on one hand, it's a bit weird, it's also a bit cool.

The "right in there" refers to what is IMO a very specialized, limited use type of item. The tricked out Mossberg would have much more utility than the Ranch Hand as produced. Now, if one adds a decent shoulder stock, we have something that would not only be functional, but very well suited for actual ranch-type work. Having actually fired a few boxes of ammunition through the Ranch Hand, I am at a loss as to what someone who actually works on a ranch, as I did for some time, and still have an active interest in, would really use it for that some other platform couldn't do much better. I see the Ranch Hand as something to take to a free state, and go through the SBR process with. But hey, if you like it, by all means buy it.

So much NO. I don't care how functional it is. My 94s are LOLing.
