Cant speak to the rifle but Coyote Point Armory says Bergara is selling them below cost, trying to buy market share. $1800~ IIRC

Can't say I have any experience with either the rifle or the manufacturer.

The 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge certainly is a good performer from magazine fed rifles - I'm very happy with mine. That said, this appears to be a mass produced rifle, and as such the typical performance will not be on par with the typical performance from a well constructed custom, or semi-custom, rifle.

It looks as if it *may* accept Accuracy International Chassis System (AICS) magazines - which is a good thing in my book.

The mag release seems to be hanging out in the open. Makes me wonder to what degree it might be susceptible to unintentional releases.

Also, the stock is attached to a tube. Sometimes those can have a tendency to rotate... which does nothing for consistency of cheek weld.

It has a 20 MOA scope mount, a helpful feature when shooting long range (something I presume an owner of such a rifle would be interested in doing).

It's a fair bit of coin... But the reviews available online seem reasonably complimentary towards the company.

Ken, have you looked into the Ruger RPR?

Very similar to this for only $1,100. Available in 6.5CM, has a folding stock with adjustable cheek piece and LOP. Very easy to rebarrel without a gunsmith.

Now only if they were that easy to buy.

Gun Broker has them for $1500~ lately.

Having owned Bergara barrels in the past I would skip that expensive rifle and build a 700/savage.
