    question about Styer SSG 69

It's nice to see the site is back up.

I had the SSG 69 out yesterday using surplus ammo and was extremely happy with the results compared to commercial reloads.

Anyway this one has the single trigger and wears factory wood furniture and came with Kkahles Wien 6x42 glass.

I have the paper work from when it came over from Germeny in 84.

My question is has anyone seen one of these wearing the wood furniture?
I can only find one example on the inter web. But that one appears to be a very early model.

It's very rare and adds value to the rifle. It's funny because I bought a green stock SSG about 10 years ago and wanted the wood, after I called Steyr USA about it they said it had not been offered for 20 years. That kind of stippling is labor intensive to produce. My understand is that it was only available on the type 1 with the irons, never on the later models.

It's good your shooting the rifle!

      Thanks for the response Discogodfather.
It seems the only other ones I have found on Google images take you to sites in German.
