    AICS and Timney question.

I just ordered the AICS AT 2.0 for my r700 5r SA and my question is, if I were to get the Timney 510 or Calvin elite, would it Fit?

ive been researching and I am getting mixed answers. Some are saying the pin is too long so the safety won't engage ... Some say it just dropped in... I can't find anything definitive.

So if I can get your input for the people that have both the chassis and the Timney trigger, I would really appreciate it.

I have a right hand remington 700 action in ASICS 2.0. I slightly shaved the left side of the aluminum stock. This will give the trigger safety pin enough room to slide left and engage.

My Jewell triggers fit fine on both my AICS stocks. The bot release might drag a bit, can't remember, but I know I didn't do any grinding.

The pin stuck out on mine. My rule of thumb is modify the cheaper part which was to grind down the pin on the trigger.

AICS 2.0 and Timney 510 on mine... also did some minor modification to the pin on the trigger... worked perfect / no issues.

Recently changed to the 501T trigger, which does not have a safety, and required no modification.

Just plan on needing to clearance the AI chassis.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised 👍. I didn't have to make any modifications to the trigger or chassis. Safety engages fine and Everything seems to be in working order.

Its a small modification if needed. There are threads/photos on CAPRC and Snipershide.
