    Defiance Deviant Has Arrived!

It's currently in jail. But I'm psyched. The bolt runs really smooth! I'm pretty happy with my decision. Now I'll just have to get a BAT and a Mausingfield to keep it company lol. I like how Defiance lets you custom order pretty much everything about the action. I went with the small firing pin hole, target-length port, long tactical knob, swept back handle, heavy tang, standard flutes on bolt, multi-faceted bolt shroud, 20-MOA rail, medium length action, AICS/AW mag well, recessed bolt head... aaaaand I think that's it. Hard to remember all the details. Oh, and a "blind" side bolt release.

Sexy! Definitely a step up from a 'factory' action.

Now that is a work of art. Make sure you post up the finished product.

Stupid people don't know they are stupid. Because they are stupid. They will follow evil geniuses and do their bidding, because they are stupid.

Really super stupid people look up to, and follow stupid people like they were geniuses, because to them, they are. Unfortunately the reality of it is, that doesn't make stupid people any smarter.

That right there is the root cause to most problems in the world.

Now, the big question all of us are probably wondering...

What are your other specs to complement that beautiful action and what cartridge will you be going with?

If I remember correctly,I think OP is going with the 6.5 Creedmoor.

Yup, 6.5 Creedmoor. There was a very long thread a while back all about it lol.

Haven't decided on a muzzle brake or not. My smith uses Kampfeld Cutoms brakes.

Congrats, OP. I've got a Deviant at my smith getting built into a .243 rig. Hopefully it'll be done one of these days

As for company, yeah I did that too, haha! A BAT M and BAT EX, both will be switch barrels. The M will be 6 Dasher and .338 LMAI to start. The EX will be .375 CT and .50 DTC EDM.

Looking forward to seeing yours built out!!
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
                              Come on...what harm??
