PTG blue-printed 700 action. -- What do you think?

I am wanting to build a custom rifle. It will likely be in 223 and will not be used in competition. However, I would like it to be more accurate than me.

I was shopping around for a custom action when I found the "Extreme" action combo by PTG. It is a new Remington 700 action that PTG then does work on.

PTG states the action is blue-printed and it includes one of their bolts. The cost for the combo is $529, which seems pretty good to me, especially compared to the cost of most of the custom actions out there.

Does anyone have any experience with these PTG actions?
Would they be a good option to build a custom rifle with?
    Any better options?

I intend to use a high quality barrel (Bartlein/Krieger, etc) and it will likely end up in a chassis (XLR/MDT, etc). Also, after all the good reviews on here, I was thinking of using Randal (AR15 barrels) to do the work for me.

    So ... What say you?

Sounds like a heck of a deal to me... I'd be all over that if I was in the market.

Really interested to hear from someone who has bought one...

I was just about to post the same thing. I am very interested in one of their combos.

        Do it.

You can't go wrong with PTG, Bartlein, Kreiger, or Randall.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
          Come on...what harm??

I haven't actually gotten hands on one yet but they are making them. Not super fast, seems two to three months out.
weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

Thanks for all of the replies.

I expect we may be getting some first-hand reviews in the next few months.
