Henry Big Boy Silver

Happy Friday guys, I just saw this on Henry's site and thought I would share. This might be the one that makes me step up to the Big Boy rifle.

I've been very happy with the H001 and their customer service is the best I have ever delt with.

Nice looking gun. I am getting ready to buy a Big Boy shortly but have not yet decided between the brass or steel. I did not know the silver was available in 357. Might have to check this one out.

Wish they had a loading gate, hate the tube feed

It would be nice to see them do both like Rossi does with the model 92 in 454.
I prefer the tube feed guns over the loading gate.

I guess for plinking 22 the tube is fine but I like being able to top off the magazine while hunting. I carry a 1895 and only carries 4 45/70 rounds. I know 5 rounds(4+1) should be enough but I prefer to keep the mag full.

They also have a new model called the Big Boy steel carbine. I think it's a 16" barrel. I'd like that one in .357 of course.

Big boy series that only come in pistol calibers and not in 30-30 or 45-70. Lol, ok.

I'm an old guy so don't mind me. I have the model 92 in 24" and 16" and soon to be 20". I don't care much for the 16" because my eyes are bad and the longer sight radius helps me get on target, at least that's what I tell myself and others. Just a thought..

After mulling it over, I just went with a 20". A Rossi M92 actually. I saw some videos of people shooting the 16" and the length of pull looked cramped.
