Winchester Model 70

I am looking for some help on dating a rifle I have. I used oldguns.net, but I don't know how reliable it is, any suggestions on what I should use to look up the serial to get an accurate manufacture date. *Update* So it was manufactured in 1941 does anyone have any idea what the value is on these?
