    Tula .357 steel case ammo

    Hey Fellas,
I'm not a reloader (yet) so I thought I would ask about this ammo here. I have shot Tula .223/5.56 and I've been very happy with it through my semi home built AR's. I wonder about the .357 ammo through a lever gun, does anybody have any experience with it?

I apologize to the mods if this is in the wrong forum.

    It should be fine.
I would expect it to smell just as much as their 9mm ammo does though.
I don't know what kind of powder they use, but it sure does stink...

The cases, though, are reloadable. I've got a few .357M Tulammo cases (all Boxer primed), and they gave me, on average, about 7 loads before splitting. This is with full-house loads. Not too bad. Fed through the Rossi 92 just fine with the 158gr LRNFP, and of course the revolver didn't care one way or the other.

I'd use 'em again. Keep 'em and reload 'em.
