    Magpul AICS Mags?

Didn't see any info on them here, if so please link me to it.

I know they are new and have not seen them selling yet, but has anybody been able to try them out?

To accommodate the thickness of the polymer I would assume? Well that's not good.

I think he meant shorter as in, not hanging out of the rifle as far. Alpha 10 round mags are shorter than the standard AICS mags. The COAL is possibly an issue with the magpul mags due to being polymer, but without knowing the measurement or simply trying it out, it would only be a guess(a very good guess that it's shorter, as other polymer AICS mags have that issue). Thing is, most people don't care about COAL if they're shooting "normal" factory ammo.

I saw somewhere that they are are setup for 2.800" maximum cartridge length.
That's fine for people shooting factory ammo as factory 308 ammo is all going to be 2.800" or shorter.

No, I meant shorter as in don't allow for a longer COAL.

Sorry, should have been more specific.

It's supposed to be released around November. I can't wait to buy a few. Metal aics mags are ridiculously priced.

Yeah but you can get the Ruger stamped AI mags for about $50.

                  Those are not AI mags.
                  They are probably Accurate mags.

Wonder if there will be problems with using those things for 6.5C loads

Since they discontinued the .223 polymer AI mag, I was going to pick some of these up when they come available. They'll be no good for anything in the .308 Win class unless you have a very round fat bullet since they lack length, but I think they will be able to be modified to feed 6BR and 6 Dasher quite well.
