    And another lever gun

Marlin mid 1950's vintage 336 RC 30-30 that I bought for my wife over 35 years ago.

Cool. No cross bolt safety as well.
RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.

      that's what I'm talking about.
That one's the style that I like, a vintage working / cowboy lever gun.

someday I'd like to get a Marlin with one of the shorter 16 inch barrels.
I believe The only way you can get that new from the factory today is by ordering the youth model and then changing out the smaller stock.

My first non surplus centerfire was a Marlin 336 .30-30 back in 1972 or so. I now have a 336T. Got to have a Marlin .30-30 in the arms locker!
