    Flavio Fare Remington Pattern Triggers?

Anyone tried this trigger yet that can compare it to a polished up Jewell or a Bix & Andy for pull weight and consistency?

Wow, that looks like a sexy trigger (I think it's the handmade in Italy that adds the sex appeal). I'd buy one if I wanted a BR trigger.

For those wondering what they look like, see http://www.killoughshootingsports.co...t-trigger.html

I'm on the waiting list for two of them. Ask me in about a year whether I prefer them over my current Bix 'n Andy - neither of which has yet to see a shooting scenario. The FF is also $19 less than the comparable B&A. Only one model of the FF as best I can tell - BR with no option for a safety.

Interesting stuff.... I've love to try one out just to see what it feels like. "Adjustable to less than 2oz pull weight"

I don't really chase or follow bench rest gear but I shoot with a Timney 501T on one of my R700s and at 6 oz and thought that was pretty amazing.

I can't shoot a trigger that light, even the 5 Oz. Jewell's are too light for me. There's just not enough feedback to my finger. My 243 competition rifle has a 12 Oz. trigger and that works perfectly for me.

I'm the opposite way. Now that i shoot a 2 oz trigger for F-Class and 1 lb trigger for my tac rifle, anything really over 1.5 lbs seems heavy to me. I can still shoot them...I have SSA-E triggers in both my ARs and still shoot those well with the 2-stage 3.5 lbs trigger.

              Frank
My father uses a 1.5 ounce Bix & Andy on his hunting rifle.
It happens just as BSumoba describes it you get used to those light triggers and anything heavy feels like your pulling the trigger shoe off.

                Phillips-head screws?

I'd expect better from my Paisans in the Old Country.

2oz is an ounce too heavy

I wonder what the internals look like. Should be easy to take apart and clean with 2 Phillips.

And here I am...the guy who just clicked "buy" on a Bix N Andy for my .243 build

Maybe this sexy Italian can go in my upcoming BAT M?

If I knew about Bix and this Flava Flav trigger, I might have put these on my actions.

I'm honestly happy with the Jewells and I am not entirely sure if it would really give me an advantage. I can buy 2 jewell BRs with one of these puppies.

Haha! Don't think I wasn't tossing that thought around in my feeble brain!

What finally pushed me over the edge to the BnA was my 'smith saying he'd buy it from me if I don't like it. Pretty thin ice to base a decision on, I know, but there you have it

The Bix & Andy is completely adjustable. On a Jewell which by the way has about 12 Phillips head screws once you put the crosspins in you are done. This means your Jewell can wiggle on the pins.
With the Bix & Andy you can adjust the sideplates to remove any play.
