T/C Venture Predator - Gift for Her

I'm looking for a nice looking bolt action rifle for my wifey's bday and I came upon this beauty...



This is the prettiest rifle I have found so far, and I think it would make a wonderful gift. Only question is, how well does it shoots? I'm considering in getting it in 223 rem. Anyone has experience in this rifle?

Should be a good shooter TC make excellent barrels.

I have one in 22-250 and shoot 3 or 5 shot strings under an inch at 100 yards regularly. The bolt is smooth and with three lugs the travel is nice and compact. In my opinion, a very underrated rifle.

One downfall is the "adjustable" trigger...mine stays around 5lbs (calibrated finger) no matter how I adjust the trigger.
