The wyatt mags are ridiculous, and they cost almost as much as an AICS mag(and there are other options for wyatt mags). You've already got the PTG DBM and mags, inlet it before you bed it.

Contact Randall (username:ar15barrels) and he can inlet for you.

Stick with the PTG bottom metal and stay far away from Wyatts or any other proprietary design.

I didn't see that you already ordered the PTG. If that's the case just have it inletted.

Also, You don't need a ton of mags. I have 4 mags for my Wyatt's and never use more than two mags. It's a bolt gun, slow shooting. It's not like you're running a course dumping mags.

Another one to avoid is the detachable magazine system from HS Precision; their stocks are great, but the bottom metal and magazines I kept sending back to the factory for fitting were terrible. The ten round magazines would NEVER stay in the rifle upon firing, and rattled like a babie's toy. I ended up trading several ten round mags for the four round types, and those are the only ones that work. The AICS system is much better, and as a bonus I have found that my AI rifle can use Alpha magazines made for our Ruger GSR's, as well as the Ruger plastic GSR mags. With a small amount of fitting, one could have a single magazine type that works very well in several different rifles.

I have a Rem700 in .308
Bell&Carlson A5.
Timney Calvin Elite trigger.
Harris bipod.
Nightforce Rings. Leupold MK4 on the way.
Bolt getting a badger knob machined on now.
I want to add a DMB, since I've never had one.
Did some homework, and ordered a PTG DMB and 2 AICS 10 round mags.
I'll need to inlet a bit to sink it in.

I do inletting for Badger/PTG DBM for $75.
I do bolt knob installations for $40.
Your next upgrades after those should be a muzzle brake and maybe some bolt tuning to smooth out the action.

So, one of my next purchases is gonna be a Rem700. I'm curious about the DBM upgrades. I see like 50 different kinds of magazines. Which one is standard? Are there any that could swap back and forth between an AR-10(for instance) and a Rem700?
